We are getting ready to sell our house. We are downsizing pretty much everything! What do you do with all the stuff you have accumulated over the years. Like: church books (fictional) that have been read and probably won't be read again in this home, wedding dress slips that are in perfect condition, a wedding vale that has never been worn (put those on Craigslist and in the paper and didn't get any response I would probably do better sending somewhere in Utah to sell huh?) just stuff. I keep telling myself that it is "just stuff" so it will be easier to get rid of. It's just stuff that I really don't need. So if you have ideas on what to do with all this "stuff" let me know. (We are having a moving sale as soon as we sell the house) but don't want to put the above items in it.
I am open for any suggestions!

You could put the items on KSL.com which is a website for UT where a lot of people look and just ship it to the people or something like that. I get on KSL pretty frequent. Just a thought.
I wish we had a revolving LDS church book library of sorts out here just for things like that! I wish you luck Maureen :)
thanks for the idea about KSL.com going to try it out. Any other ideas?
you can put some of it on the free cycle web site. Im not sure what the web site is but if you put free cycle in google it will pull it up. Good luck with everything.
Don't forget to post things on eBay as well as Half.com (mainly books and music).
Just checked out your blog through Pam's...Im sure your local Bishop might know of people who could use some of the things you might have...the church (or city)libraries might like to have some of your books. Sometimes Habiat for Humanity takes furniture donations and local schools will usually take extra clothes for students and thier families in need.
